Bonjour les amis 👋
Welcome to Supercreative. My name is Ben Issenmann and I run Supercreative, a website where I share resources, courses and ideas to become super creative.
What's the deal?
Creativity and productivity are opposites. One requires time, the other minimizes it. One can't be measured, the other needs to be. One creates to-do lists, the other checks them off. The opposition between creativity and productivity is the fundamental tension all creatives face.
But great change in the world happens when creators think new ideas and get them done. So bringing creativity and productivity together - helping creatives be more productive with modern tools and method - unlocks a vast positive change in the world. The future belongs to the creatives who will master technology to amplify their ideas. This is why Supercreative exists: to level up the next generation of creatives. You can learn more about the vision here.
What’s in for you?
I consistently write and make videos about this topic on the blog. If you’re new here, here are some of the most popular articles:
- The Hyper freelancer
- Tiny Products
- My Accountability Partner Made me Write this
- The Monthly Investor Update
To help my audience become super creative, I run courses like the Super Webflow Course. Courses are the lifeblood of Supercreative. Every course delivers tremendous value to students.
Most students then join OUTPUT, a paid online community of like-minded creatives, freelancers and entrepreneurs. The goal of OUTPUT is to push creatives create work they're proud of, consistently. Being surrounded with people I admire makes all of this worthwhile.
Finally, some people are interested in my design services and want to hire me directly. I don't take clients anymore, as explained in the No, thank you article. I do 2 hour consulting calls instead, and they're great.
Who am I?
I grew up designing brands, websites and animations for Youtubers and startups. I turned to programming at university (when I was actually studying marketing) and became obsessed with building creative tools.
To me, a good life means being useful to others. There is one hard prerequisite to do so: knowing yourself to better serve others. To do so, I have embarked on a lifelong journey of learning and reaching total clarity of communication and thought. My favorite quote: “Reading is the inhale. Writing is the exhale. Breathe”.
